HOLA
well i guess this is it. it really hasn't seemed real up until yesterday when i had to say goodbye to the branch. i am going to miss them so much. i stayed pretty composed during the services but immediately after everyone left i just broke into tears. i seriously love these people so much. it has been such a privilege and honor to serve here in Chihuahua these past two years that just flew by so fast. i am so grateful to my Heavenly Father for all of the lessons learned, trials, and amazing experiences that i have had.
we worked super hard this week and took advantage of every minute to find and teach people. we focused a lot on this one lady we found last week whose name is Carmen. she had actually been to the church a bunch when she lived in Baja California and had listed to the missionaries, but then when she moved back to San Juanito she lost contact with them. so we invited her to get baptized and taught her everything really well and President Chavez gave us the thumbs up to baptize her. it was really really cool. and I'm glad that the Lord allowed me to leave San Juanito in good condition and with the members strong.
I don't know if anyone can truly measure or understand the gravity of what the mission has done for me; the people who have inspired me, the experiences that have changed my perspective, and the trials that have pushed me beyond my limits where i had to rely solely upon the Lord and His Grace. it has all worked for my good. it has all changed me so much. it moves me in a very profound way and i want you all to know that i know that this is God´s work. He didn't need me here, he really could have done everything without me, but the truth is that I needed the mission. and i am so grateful for everything it has done for me and for all that i could do in service for others.
so i guess that basically sums it up! I'm going home on Wednesday so i will see you all then! love you all so so much and thank you for all the continued support and love in all the good times and hard times.
Love,
Elder Glenn
